The van has a reconditioned engine and is serviced regularly but in the event of a breakdown it is covered by fully comprehensive AA cover. If the AA are unable to get you on your way, we may be able to supply a replacement (subject to availability) or refund the remaining part of your hire period. Please see the terms and conditions for further information. How does the van drive? Reef has a reconditioned engine which means she drives really well. These Campers are over 30 years old, and it is certainly different from what you’re used to! They are vans where the journey is enjoyed as much as your destination. They're not fast and shouldn’t be used by anyone that needs to get somewhere quickly. However, she will always bring a smile to your face! Can I arrange a hire period outside the standard days on the website? Yes, this will be subject to availability and we will try and accommodate individual requirements where possible. Can I leave my car with you for the duration of the hire period? Yes you can leave your car on our driveway but this is at your own risk. What if I have points on my licence? You could incur an additional charge for insurance purposes so please contact us prior to booking. What will I need to bring? The van is fully equipped but you will need to bring your own sleeping bags, bed linen, pillows and towels. Please bear in mind the van is not huge; therefore you need to be mindful not to pack bulky items as space is limited. Remember though once you have stopped and put up the awning, your space doubles!
Do not forget for EACH named driver you will need your passport, both parts of driving licence with photographs and recent (within 6 weeks) utility bill to confirm your current address. If not already paid, you will need to provide a £500 security deposit which must have cleared at the point of collection of the van. If you are not leaving your car with us, we will need to retain your passports. What cooking facilities does the van have? The van has a hob with 2 cooking rings with grill; there are 3 different sized cooking pans, cutlery and utensils supplied with the van to assist in the kitchen. Furthermore, there is a fridge to store your milk, or keep alcohol chilled if you prefer. Does the van have a CD player? Yes. Dvd Player available at extra cost. How many people does the camper sleep? Two adults and one child. There is a hammock that is placed in the front of the van that is ideally suited for a smaller child or baby. There is a main good sized bed for the adults. Where is Morecambe and Wize Devon located? We are located in South Molton, Devon. ( Nr Woolacombe and Croyde )
